Michelle is a Licensed Independent Health Practitioner who has over 16 years of experience. She has served the community in various ways volunteering, leading trainings along with previous work experience at out-patient programs and schools. She also offers supervision for other practitioners in their journey to become the best therapist.
Education
Michelle received her Bachelors of Psychology from Dana College in 2005. She obtained her Masters of Science in Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2008, and also earned a Masters of Science in School Counseling in 2009 from Wayne State.
Specialties
Michelle is passionate and has extensive work within the queer community (LGBTQQIA+) providing gender affirming care, as well as the kink/poly community (EM), and is embracing of neurodivergent individuals. As a gender affirming therapist she provides letters in accordance with WPATH for transgender and gender diverse folks seeking hormone therapy and gender affirming surgeries. Michelle offers both in person or virtual sessions.
